GLOWING CLIMATE - light art in Ørestad
OPENING / GLOWING CLIMATE: FRIDAY NOVEMBER 13TH THE ART IS SWITCHED ON IN ØRESTAD! Glowing Climate is one of two fantastic LIGHTSOUND urban space projects during the climate conference in Copenhagen. Read more about the other project ... The festival revolves around a unique LIGHT- AND MEDIA ART EXHIBITION, shown on water and land in the public spaces of Ørestad. The exhibition is open from 5-10 pm every day during the exhibition period. The exhibiting artists leave humouristic, poetic and provocative comments to the ongoing and urgent environmental debate. Join us Friday the 13th at 7-8 pm for a drink in the hall of the IT University, Rued Langgaards Vej 7, Kbh. S, - from there we will take you for a guided tour through the illuminating exhibition. While diplomates iron their shirts, preparing for COP15, GLOWING CLIMATE opens the illuminating art- and climate festival in Ørestad. GLOWING CLIMATE is organized by the light- and media art gallery Illumenarts in collaboration with LIGHTSOUND a.o.

We'll end up in Under Vand (Under Water), where KLIMABEAT offers green drinks and irresistable dance rythms.There will be light-events, only to be experienced this evening. Be there, jump in the saddle and pedal the electricity for a glowing halo and the sound of a poem - if you need to rest your legs, you can blow up a couch and measure your own personal CO2 emissions.
